RF Microwave Engineering Technician

We are currently seeking to hire an Entry Level/Intern RF Microwave Engineering Technician in San Diego, CA.
Summary:
We are looking for an intern in the RF and Microwave Group. Candidate should be interested in microwave and RF test, design, and product delivery from semiconductor to PCB to box level design. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join one of San Diego’s “Fastest 100 privately held companies” in 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010.
Potential employees should have a mix of technical expertise and experience, and also be strongly motivated to achieve technical success on complex engineering projects. Space Micro is looking for motivated candidates who can work as part of a team, willing to learn and can take a design assignment and push it to completion.

Required Skills:
- Strong Writing, Computer & Verbal skills
- Strong Soldering and Electronics Assembly skills
- Knowledge RF, Microwave CAD Tools
- Knowledge Laboratory Equipment
- Microwave, RF, Analog Design & Circuits Interest and Experience
- Knowledge of Space Programs, Parts, Materials, Environments, Specifications and Processes is a plus
- Self-directive person with ability to handle a dynamic work environment.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Electronic Assembly
- Follow Test Procedures
- Work with Engineer to test new design
- Help Us Grow Our Company
- Innovative Ideas and Product Development
- Concept, Presentation, CAD Design, Test and Delivery of New Products
- Work with Team to Generate Proposals and Reports
- Work within Team to Build, Test and Delivery of Space Satellite Products
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
Education and Certifications:
- AA Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Required
- BS Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Desirable
- Minimum 3 years experience
