Embedded Software Engineer, 3-7 Years Experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum BSEE, BSCE, BSCS (or equivalent) with 3-7 years of related experience in software development.
• Expertise in C/C++ programming languages and acquaintance with embedded systems programming is required.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel, drivers, and development tools. Experience with processors and microcontrollers used on embedded systems is a plus.
• Self-directive person with ability to handle a dynamic work environment.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holders only.

Position Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test embedded application programs, operating system components, and drivers in C/C++ programming languages to run on Space Micro Inc.'s single-board computer platforms. This position requires close collaboration with Space Micro Inc.'s hardware-design team to test/debug hardware manufactured by Space Micro as well as to write drivers and develop board-support packages.
