Space Micro Delivers Flight Avionics Box to NASA for MISSE Program
San Diego, CA – May 5, 2014 Space Micro announced today that they have delivered their satellite electronics subsystem to NASA Langley on the MISSE-X program.
Space Micro's CEO David Strobel, commented, “this delivery of a three slice subsystem in our flexible and high performance ProtonX-Box format is supporting an ISS experiment to monitor space radiation effects. The configuration incorporates our next generation P-400K single board computer (SBC) which features advanced radiation mitigation techniques. The MISSE-X subsystem successfully completed full space qualification testing including thermal vacuum, EMI, temperature cycling, and vibration.”
