Eric Ackermann Joins the Space Micro Team Will be Manager for the Domestic Security Division SAN DIEGO, CA – April 30, 2007–Space Micro Inc. recently appointed Eric Ackermann as the Division Manager of their Domestic Security Division. Mr. Ackermann, who joined Space Micro Inc on February 1, will be responsible for leading R&D innovations aimed at pioneering product developments for the detection of Chemical, Biological and Radiological threats. “We are delighted to be able to add such an outstanding and professional talent to our Homeland Security technical staff” said Mr. Jim Winso, Director of Homeland Security Programs. Mr. Ackermann has 17 years engineering experience, including 12 yrs directly immersed in Radiation Detection R&D at SAIC. Included in this R&D experience are engineering and management contributions on large scale gamma ray cargo imaging systems, a robotic bio assay inspection system and an advanced spectral portal.
