Space Micro Selected as Finalist in San Diego Manufacturing Awards
San Diego, CA – September 30, 2016 Space Micro announced today that they were selected as a finalist in the medium sized company category for the 2016 Manufacturing Awards, sponsored by the San Diego Business Journal.
This event honors the San Diego County's best manufacturing leaders and companies with a prestigious awards event and special supplement to showcase the winners and finalists.
Space Micro is a high technology, employee-owned space products business founded in 2002 in San Diego, CA. Space Micro has 82 employees, 63 of whom have technical degrees. The company operates form a 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Sorrento Mesa with manufacturing, test, quality, engineering, marketing, and administrative functions under one roof. The vision of Space Micro is to leverage commercial technologies, by ruggedization and patented radiation mitigation, to meet military and space requirements and effectively transfer into the product marketplace.
