DLR Mission Success Enabled by Space Micro’s Space-qualified Multi-core Hyperspectral Image Processing Computer

Space Micro’s Proton 400K, a high performance rad hard multicore payload processor Single board computer is now on ISS as a key the DLR Earth Sensing Imaging Spectrometer (DESIS).
Space Micro’s standard image processing computer is the called the Proton 400K, which is based on a multicore silicon on insulator (SOI) chip with over 100 krads (Si) radiation capability, plus patented Single Event Effects (SEE) mitigation.
