AutoSafe™: Automatic Tools for Object Level Firewalls™

SAN DIEGO, CA - May 25, 2005 - Space Micro"s Rocket Science Security Division has been selected for research and development of new automated security tools providing automatic "Protect/Detect/React" capabilities for the protection of digital data, including standard files and executable software. The new system, AutoSafe™ tools, is unique in its ability to strongly protect digital files and detect unauthorized intrusion attempts, while providing automatic reaction capabilities to circumvent the intrusion. This effort is being partially supported by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio, under a Phase I SBIR contract.

"We are very pleased to have the opportunity to partner with AFRL and OSD to bring this technology into the solution set for U.S. Government agencies, said David R. Czajkowski, Chief Operating Officer of Space Micro. "We believe this program is an important step in demonstrating the value of Object Level Firewalls™, while providing a valuable new product offering to the information security market".

AutoSafe™ will incorporate Space Micro"s patent pending Object Level Firewalls™ technology into a design tool set that can automatically secure the software or data object by providing encrypted and controlled access (Protect). Once secured, only the authorized client will have access to the object. AutoSafe™ provides automatic object intrusion detection capabilities, with programmable reaction features when unauthorized access attempts occur.
