SAN DIEGO, CA - November 5, 2008 - Space Micro Inc. was recognized in Inc. magazine's 2009 list of the "5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies." The list is comprised of the top 5000 companies with the highest growth of revenues in the entire country. Space Micro was ranked #2,274 on the Inc. 5000 list with a compound annual growth rate o137% from 2005-2008. This places Space Micro at #41 in the greater San Diego area.
This is the third consecutive year that Space Micro has been recognized for this achievement. Since its inception in 2002, Space Micro has experienced continuous rapid growth with such diverse clients as Raytheon, Goodrich Aerospace, Pratt Whitney, Orbital Sciences, SAIC, NASA, Lockheed Martin, Missile Defense Agency, and the United States Air Force. Space Micro has grown from a small startup company to a company currently employing over 30 professional engineers.
