Space Micro Announces New Spray Form of its Patented RADCOMP™ Radiation Shieldings

SAN DIEGO, CA – March 24, 2011 – Space Micro announced today that it has developed a sprayable version of its RADCOMP™ radiation material. The material is formulation flexible, allowing it to be used with a range of structural materials. The original technology was developed to support an SBIR effort to develop radiation shielding for space electronics.

“Space Micro works to develop and produce innovative products through the SBIR Program and looks for opportunity to expand the technology into derivative applications”, stated Project Leader, Carl Edwards.
