Space Micro has developed several interrelated and patent pending technologies that provide both data and source code protection.  The technologies, called Object Level Firewalls™ (OLFW), and Reconfigurable Architecture for Software Protection (RASP), provide very strong and easy-to-use protection. OLFW is the core technology. The technologies operate by applying industry standard symmetric encryption to protect data or software, with the ability to authorize individual clients and microprocessor’s access to the protected software.

These technologies provide all encryption into unique packages, or “Objects” that are addressed and targeted for a specific client and/or microprocessor.  OLFW provides an innovative encryption key management system that uses standard symmetric encryption algorithms (3DES or AES), along with an authentication server to verify parties and pass unique session keys between parties. The Object Level Firewall system is designed to allow two or more parties (people or computers) to transfer and/or store encrypted information without knowing the other party’s encryption key.  The only information required to transfer between parties is the recipient’s public identity (not public key, but simply their e-mail address). The Object Level Firewall system can be implemented either in hardware or software.
