Human Resources Recruiter


Position Description:

  • College degree required, preferably in Communications, or similar
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization skills and ability to multi-task
  • Problem-solving aptitude and critical-thinking skills
  • People skills, sales/marketing skills
  • Research skills (e.g., LinkedIn)
  • Creativity and willingness to take initiative
  • Professional demeanor

Primary Duties:

  • Post job ads on professional sites, job board sites and social media as applicable
  • Participate in candidate sourcing efforts
  • Screen resumes and send them to the hiring managers
  • Conduct initial phone interviews as required
  • Schedule and coordinate all interviews for the hiring managers as applicable
  • Manage recruitment calendars for all hiring teams, team members and candidates
  • Communicate with candidates promptly, clearly, and assist them with any questions prior to/after the interviews
  • Participate in recruiting events/fairs as needed
  • Promote positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Key liaison for university recruiting and job postings
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned
