Space Micro Delivers Star Trackers for LEO Space Program
San Diego, CA – May 15, 2019
Space Micro announced the delivery of multiple star trackers to an undisclosed customer for a LEO spacecraft program.
Space Micro’s μSTAR star sensor incorporates radiation hardened glass and electronics in a thermally stable design shown to be robust over LEO environments. The high accuracy star tracker passed performance testing with a combination of night sky and dynamic scene collimated projection.
Following initial development and delivery of engineering models, the flight units passed space qualification testing at Space Micro’s San Diego facility.
