Space Micro Celebrates 16th Anniversary

San Diego, CA – April 6, 2018

Today, Space Micro celebrates our 16th anniversary as a company, after our founding by three employees in 2002 in Poway, California. Far from a start-up now, the employee-owned company has grown to over $26M in revenue and 100 employees in a modern 40,000 sq. ft. San Diego facility. Typically with over 25 active contracts, Space Micro is a qualified supplier to virtually every U.S. space prime contractor and governmental agency.

“Starting with an Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract in 2002 for radiation hardened space computing, we have expanded into an entire broad product line of satellite computing, imaging, communications, and guidance and control,” said CEO David J. Strobel.

We’d like to extend our thanks to customers, friends, family, and colleagues who have supported us over the years and we look forward to many more anniversaries.
